Our weeks are always packed full of activities including preschool, mops, work (for me), gymnastics, soccer, church and all kinds of adventures. This past weekend my brother invited us to go bowling with him and his sweet girlfriend. I had never taken my kids bowling before so I thought I would try it. I think I will wait to take them again
They both liked it but holy heck it took almost a whole min for their ball to get down the lane and when it wasn’t their turn they were off dancing in the aisles (which would have been fine had there not been other teams trying to bowl right next to us) or they were up by the machines trying to force stuffed animals out of that claw game. I had not been bowling since high school so it was fun to go, and I dominated hahahhaha. Kate and Emmett thought the air vent was more interesting than bowling, and would stand with their face over the vent and laugh. All in all it was a fun night, but I don’t see us repeating this even anytime soon.

A couple weeks ago we were driving by our neighbors house and noticed a bus in their driveway, Carson asked why it was there and if he could go on it. I told him he would have to ask our neighbor. A few days later our neighbor pulled up in front of our house and honked the horn. The kids went running out to see the bus with the doors open right in front of our house. We love our neighbors, they have a little girl Kates age. We got on the bus for a ride to the grocery store. It was pretty fun for the kids and even funnier for me when we went to get back on the bus in the haggen parking lot to find that the bus would not start. So here we sat, 3 kids 4 adults on a full sized school bus. We were only sitting for about 20 mins when my neighbor got the bus started and brought us back home.

Kate is such a sweetie, she talks to her babies all day long and absolutely loves to read to them. She plays by herself better than any kid I know. I caught her reading to her babies sunday morning and snapped a picture before she looked at me and stopped.

My dad’s birthday dinner, my dad is such a great dad and grandpa. I have learned so much from him and am so thankful for this wonderful example of sacrifice. He has always showed us kids that he loves and adores my mom. My kids love going to bama and umpa’s house to play.
