So I'm sure some of you have heard by now that I've taken a little trip by myself. I landed in Tokyo just about 15 minutes ago and am doing pretty good. It's 11:45pm in Seattle right now, and I still have 5 hours to go before I make it to Taipei. It started at 5am this morning in Seattle so I'm thinking it's going to be a long trip, but it's been pretty smooth going so far. I miss Lesha and the kids a lot. I hope this is the last time we are apart for this long. Hopefully we can take a trip together next time, when the kids are a little older.
I'll update you guys again when I get to Taipei, and I'll try and post some pictures. Hope everything is going well and that everyone is having lots of fun. I'm surprised the blog loaded up so quick, but now that I know it does I'll be checking it often.
The view outside the Delta Airlines Lounge in Tokyo. It's about 5pm and the sun is setting. Yes these are the kind of people that sit in the "Platinum Lounge" in Airports in far away places. Enjoy your view from home, because I guarantee it's better than mine. ;)
On a totally unrelated note. I am sitting in Japan, updating the blog that runs on our home server and it's almost like I'm at home. The network is just that fast. I can't tell if it's because I'm in Japan, or if that's just how I should expect the internet works. Amazing.
Love and hugs and kisses for Lesha and Carson and Kate. I miss you guys very much. It's going to be hard being away for so long. Love you most.
